About Omni Checklist

Our Mission

Omni Checklist exists for one reason: to give you the right checklist at the right moment. Whether you're packing for a trip, onboarding a new employee, preparing for an emergency, or planning a wedding, a well-crafted checklist turns an overwhelming task into a series of clear, manageable steps.

We believe that checklists are one of the most underrated productivity tools available — used by surgeons, pilots, and astronauts for good reason. Our goal is to bring that same clarity to everyday life.

What We Do

Omni Checklist is a hand-curated library of practical checklists spanning 18 categories — from travel and home to finance, health, fitness, and more. Every checklist on this site is:

• Carefully researched. Each list is built from real-world experience, expert guidance, and established best practices in its field.
• Human-reviewed. We don't publish automatically generated lists. Every checklist is reviewed by a person before it goes live to ensure the items are accurate, complete, and genuinely useful.
• Kept up to date. The world changes, and so do best practices. We revisit and refresh our checklists regularly to reflect current standards.
• Yours to customise. Every checklist can be personalised — add your own items, edit existing ones, or remove anything that doesn't apply to you. No account required. Your changes are stored privately on your own device and never sent to us.
• Free to use. No sign-up, no paywall. Just open a checklist and get to work.

Our Curation Standards

Not every checklist idea makes it onto Omni Checklist. Before a new checklist is published, we ask ourselves:

• Does this help a real person accomplish a real task?
• Is the content accurate and grounded in reliable sources or lived experience?
• Are the items specific enough to be actionable, but flexible enough to apply broadly?
• Does it add something that is not already well-covered?

If a topic doesn't pass that bar, it doesn't get published. Quality over quantity is the rule here.

Who We Are

Omni Checklist is an independent publication run by a small team of writers, researchers, and everyday people who care about being prepared. We are not affiliated with any brand, retailer, or sponsored program that influences the content of our checklists. Our recommendations are editorially independent.
